Notices and Guidance
The Authority wishes to draw the attention of “Ship-owners, Training Institutions, Seafarers and the general public” to the guidance and notices provided here under.
The guidance is provided by the IMO and has been endorsed by the Authority.
Those concerned are required to, as much as possible, apply the guidance in seafarer training and certification.
The public notices are issued by the Director General for the better carrying out of the provisions of the STCW Convention.
